the problem is that i did a usb stick with a garuda iso (capuccin, dr4g0nized and all) and i am stuck in the black screen when trying to install it, i tried changing the usb port nothing i tried everything know and im desperate. the computer has no secure boot i tried endeavour and it worked but i love garuda so much i removed endeavour to try and fix the problem with the grub not showing up …

nothing just void on the internet with this problem.

i only have a laptop with garuda installed and it works fine but i cant on my pc the grub dont even show up.

if you have a solution thanks otherwise i’ll keep it on my laptop and stay on winpuke on the pc.

Also check ventoy and boot with grub2 or install first free driver and later the nvidia.

i tried to install Garuda Gaming (garuda-dr460nized-gaming-linux-zen-240428.iso) with a nvidia card this week, but could not do it for some reason. i tried open source, as well as the propriety drivers, and also the nvidia-all drivers, but to no avail.
On the other hand Mokka (garuda-mokka-linux-zen-250308.iso) works flawlessly, on the nvidia drivers with my GTX 4080, and that right from install. However i did have to use Ventoy and then boot the installation via grub2 for it to work.

The problem is that i dont have nor the grub making me chose between open source or nvidia, i dont know if i need a special configuration on my bios or something …

i boot on the usb and nothing come up at the start as if i try to boot on nothing.

Have you tried to create the bootstick with ventoy and then boot the garuda.iso in Grub2 mode?

Maybe a silly question, but are you sure you made the boot/installer-USB correctly?
if you plug it into your other computer, does it show up as a dragonized installer?
When you try to boot with it, how are you selecting it as a boot-target? Do you get a boot menu before the black screen?
