For sddm it should be:

Just set the path of wallpaper at "Background=" field in /usr/share/sddm/themes/Ant-Dark/theme.conf

thnx again everyone

OK, that's more strightforward.
If a next update of garuda-qtile-settings, including that file will overwrite your update, you can do that again or maybe create the
/usr/share/sddm/themes/Ant-Dark/theme.conf.user
as per Arch Wiki suggestion.

it wasn’t taking the absolute path so i add the image in the assets and named it bg3 then it works, luckily i didn’t moved my original image and instead cpy & pst it lol

isn’t there something like system-settings in Garuda-Dragonised it would really be helpful in the future lmao.

OK, but at the next update of the package the file theme.conf will be replaced, so you'll find again Background="assets/bg2.jpg" in there.
Maybe you could call your image bg2.jpg and give it the immutable attribute (otherwise this would be also overwritten). But maybe one day there will be a new default image and theme.conf will link to it.
