A few days ago a bug was reported on the latest version of grub that affected many (but not all) users.
An initial action was taken to fix the problem by automatically reinstalling the grub using the new package via a hook, but it did not work for everyone.
Since the fix was not effective for some users, and other problems were reported (not necessarily linked to that fix), it was decided to downgrade the Gurb package, in the Garuda repo, to the latest working version.

However, if you don’t experience any problems, just don’t reinstall the grub using the new (downgraded) package.
