GPU Problems Slow motion

I just installed a new gpu into my computer and re-installed the proper drivers, mesa, xf86, vulkan. The problem I'm having is that my computer is running in slow motion, If I boot with the DP on the gpu it just black screens, but if I use the intergrated graphics it boots up just fine but when I switch the DP back to the gpu then everything is in slow motion.

My specs are: 5600G, B550 by gigabyte, RX 6600 XT.

Stuff I did to get the gpu to work so far (I was black screening) was I changed the intergrated graphics from forces to auto and I set the PCEI from auto to gen 3.

After a reboot I'm now at a black screen still using intergrated graphics. before I would have my display/desktop working but in slow motion.

I also edit my original post as per your request.

Edit: I have repluged my DP into the graphics card and I have a display but it is still in slow motion

  • You should select SATA mode to ACHI [Done in BIOS]

For KDE Dragonized

  • Use compositor for balence of latency in integrated graphics [System Settings]

So the settings your were talking about was already toggled. I found a setting in the I/O options that toggled display so I set that to PCEI-1 then saved and exit, and I bricked the PC . So i had to remove the graphics card and removed the cmos and now everything is working fine.

Thanks for your guys help I appreciate it.

set to dgpu and re-install or try how the live boot usb works with dgpu only first
