Guys, I'm having problems with updating and managing Garuda with the System Assistants.
When I try to do something in the assistants, these messages appear:

I read the other thread that showed... they reported that for example TimeShift needs root permission to start. But here he is not even allowed to change the keyboard layout for example. It doesn't run anything always reporting the session error without cockies.

I installed i3wm on an older machine two or three days ago, and can’t figure out your problem.

We switched from timeshift to snapper some time ago.
What is the exact name, including date, of the ISO file?

It would also be helpful to name this assistant more precisely, there are very many from Garuda and in the system.

What changes did you make?

Secure and fastboot in the BIOS are disabled?

… have you searched the internet for the error?

Can you open the visudo file?

sudo visudo

or

pkexec visudo

Paste the contents of the file into the thread, or if it won't open paste the error message.

What polkit packages are installed?

pacman -Qs polkit

Can anyone confirm if i3 is supposed to have all three of these installed? Sway only has the Gnome polkit.

Check to see what this report says. I am guessing it will go to this file:

sudo micro /var/spool/mail/root

If that file is missing, check what else is in /var/spool/mail/ to find the report.

What does the rest of this line say? It looks like it was cut off in the copy/paste.

Post some output from the journal:

Try to reinstall Gnome polkit and see what happens. First update your system with garuda-update, then:

sudo pacman -S polkit-gnome

The only polkit that should be on the system is Gnome?
When I have uninstall the remaining others the message below appears.
I saw that Garuda is associated with this POLKIT without distribution in the name... is that not the error?
What happens if I uninstall all dependencies? will i break the system?

Your system had three graphical authentication agents installed. I'm honestly not sure if that is a problem or not, they probably were installed along with something else as a dependency. The Gnome one is the graphical authentication agent that is installed by default.
