gnome might have been installed in times immemorial…
i removed it.
but garuda-update still is not working.
what else i can do please?

HI mvd,

what is now the error in the terminal if you removed gnome-shell-performance? Please post again the update error.

Duke,
Actually, i correct myself. I did not remove gnome. i don’t know how.
the error os the same.
worst case scenario, after how much time the OS will stop working without an update?

I found a Topic here from @nepti

there is another option too but i forgot the right comand to much in the head with stuff but i will find them if this not work

dont get worried the Forum will help you out in this problem

I am not sure.

The OP post in the newbies area, but he installed KDE on top of GNOME?

Eliminating acute faults for three days without knowing whether the next intolerance will occur soon could deter helpers.

Just my opinion as far as everything is correct.

I could be wrong about, but it seems simpler to make a backup of needed files and reinstall new.
It is also a dual-boot with M$, Garuda do not support.

Duke,
I don’t think I experimented with gnome on top or below KDE this time.
So, qurious, how is that possible to have gnome-ext at all!?
I haven’t found anything in home/user/local… as in one topic i reviewed…
Installed ext manager, which cannot find any extension on the system.
Ideas?

Which reminds my 1995 with the popular procedure to fix windows…
Is this a good image, SGS?

yeah i dont know if it helps in Garuda Rani under Maintenance–>Garuda update rescue tools → Garuda update full fix ?

or just in terminal

garuda-update remote reinstall

Yeah, thanks, Duke
Snapper or this reinstall
on

So, if you think you are doing nothing this time, IDK where it comes from too.

SGS,
Nope, not correct in some view points.
if Garuda do not support multiboot/win boot, how is Garuda Linux different from Winblows?
Yeah, IDK… interesting but I have too many responsibilities at the moment. thanks

ahm yeah i have running winblows 7.10,11 beside Garuda versions and no problems with Windows its all how you have installed it in order and so on . Actually on Hyprland

Garuda let you install M$, but M$ do not let you install other OS if you follow the M$ “security” settings.

But, since M$ breaks the other OS or some parts of hardware, we have no fun to repair the shit of M$.

OK  ?

SGS,
Your opition sounds misleading, as this topic has nothing to do with win installation.
Sorry to tell you. Not helping

That’s your opinion, I was just responding to your comparison.

no connection, SGS

Thanks anyway for creating this ext of Arch, to the team that leads this idea!
The Name is Important

I can’t translate your last posts clearly, but my post was referring to the fact that if my assumptions are correct, it will be difficult to repair and therefore the easiest way to avoid subsequent errors would be to reinstall.
Maybe you missed that?
Maybe you can check whether this app was installed as a dependency of another app. Just a thought.
