After reading your link I renamed the conflicting file which allowed me to continue and complete garuda-update

Made the same thing on my 2 machines and Thunderbird disappeared from the program list totally xD

It's still installed and whatnot, I ran it from console and pinned it again to Latte. Though, when you turn it off, it goes back to question mark (on Latte). But at least I can run it :smiley:

Reinstalling or such doesn't bring it back. Well, no biggie :wink:

I assume you're using thunderbird-appmenu ? The most recent release seems to have lost the desktop launcher, I assume it will be fixed in due course.

I have already learned NOT TO be so afraid with these "hiccups" :smiley:

With rolling distros something occasionally breaks, and it usually gets corrected again, sooner or later :slight_smile:
