Garuda Mokka Install Issue

9070
32GB
3 seperate SSDs. (Will install to an M.2 970.
I ran Garuda Gaming edition when I had a 6900XT without issues. Installer was flawless.

I’ve tried making several different bootable USB sticks, but all I get is a black screen. I was able to install Nobara, but I’m really itching to go back to Garuda.

I did not use Grub Loader for Nobara, and instead installed it on a separate drive. Anyway, I was hoping to load Garuda’s Installer and wipe out said drive, but it just sits at a black screen.

The only thing I can think of is that I have a 9070 GPU and maybe it’s an issue related to that.

Anyway, what am I doing wrong?

Black screen before grub menu when booting the live.iso? If yes, try this:

Thank you. I had ventoy installed but had used both etcher and rufus to no avail. I see why ventoy is highly suggested now. Prep the USB stick and then just drop ISO files on it. Inanely good.

Problem solved.

I used it from ventoy and was able to get it on my old laptop without any issue. I did use the grub loader though so maybe that’s why

I did add this to the installation instructions on the website btw. So if anyone asks as of today they likely did not read them :smiley:
