Game freezes system in a bad way

EDIT 2: SOLVED (kinda):
When windoed even though the cursor is "locked" moving it down too far caused latte to pop up. So i run it fullscreen with latte off and could not reproduce the issue.
The problem is probably latte dock trying to pop up over a maximized win app causing the system to have a stroke.

EDIT: Formated the post to be readable

So i have a fresh install of garuda. Downloaded war thunder.

The game plays better BUT at some point, either if i tab out and back in or it is about to load something the monitor freezes (still image of whatever was happening the moment of event.).

Nothing can be done, even ctrl+f* does nothing. The only way to "fix" the situation is to hold down the power button until my system ceases.

My old os was OpenSuse Tumbleweed and i was having both less fps and a slight input lag.

On this os i get better fps and smoothness.

It does not happen in windowed mode only fullscreen (Just had a 3hr session windowed, smooth as honey)

The chassis does not warm up more than normal nor the fans ramp up to an alarming degree at any point

The audio keeps playing only if it was queued so a youtube video will keep giving audio normally but in game audio will not change with time as expected.

I managed to save the live wine output from the terminal to a file, keep in mind that i only have what was saved before i had to suffocate the laptop

I will edit it to make it more readable, sorry for posting in the wrong category.
Since it did not happen in my previous os, and the performance is noticeably better i thought it might be a hiccup of garuda's performance enhancing abilities and might be a useful bug case.
The important part is it only happens when fullscreening the program.

Try to play it disabling the compositor.
You can enable / disable the compositor on the fly with alt+shift+F12.

Tried it, the problem persists. But i figured it out. When windoed even though the cursor is "locked" moving it down too far cause latte to pop up. So i run it fullscreen with latte off and could not reproduce it.
The problem is probably latte dock trying to pop up over a maximized win app causing the system to have a stroke. So now i need to figure a way around it. Maybe a shortcut to make the bottom dock kept hidden before i launch the game

Check if this helps

It wasn't ticked but changing it from "dodge active" to "dodge maximized" seems to do the trick.
And without you suggesting to change the dock's behavior before the nuclear solution i probably wouldn't have tried it.
Thank you very much
