Hello everyone!
Im trying to install and try this promising distro, but when I try to install the screen freezes there. It just happens with proprietary drivers, I'm trying to install the gaming edition.
Try with free drivers…?
Try with open source driver.
I too faced this issue..
Later you can install proprietary drivers.
Boot using free drivers, initially. What GPU do you have? System specs will help us help you - the more details, the better.

Now I'm getting this error when trying to install nvidia drivers using the garuda's hardware manager
Try instead - after rebooting into working snapshot.
sudo pacman -Syu
reboot
then
sudo dkms autoinstall
reboot and test if working nicely.

Sorry for that, but there was no other way to post that problem, because was during the instalation, no way to copy and paste text. Now I have another problem when I try to install nvidia drivers.

Try rebooting from a working snapshot. Then
sudo pacman -Syu
reboot
then
sudo dkms autoinstall
reboot and test if working nicely.
I posted this earlier, to help you. Many may post, please read your own thread thoroughly.
I was about to try that but for no reason my DE stop working and now I have to reinstall Garuda.
I will try to install with open source, update, reboot and do sudo dkms autoinstall. and see what happens.
Please keep us informed.
For future reference,
The error there should be quite clear.

Cool - now enjoy!
Sounds kind of like a nickname from your old “Mob” days. Like “No Nose” or "Greasy Thumb”.

Shhhh!
Question: Why are you installing the 390xx drivers on a GPU that is supported by the 460xx drivers?
