Firedragon media playback messed up 11.17.4-2.1

It works if I set it to Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:126.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/126.0 with Strong protection against fingerprinting disabled.

I haven’t reloaded FireDragon yet as Dr460nized mentioned.

My inital value if it’s helps : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/129.0.0.0 Safari/537.36. I remember tweaking this a while ago, but I can’t remember why or even if that is the result of my tweaking or if I reverted it back tbh.

Excellent!
Which issue did this fix?

Playing Youtube videos in my case. They weren’t loading. Now they work fine. I never had the audio issue. Audio is fine over here :ok_hand:

In my tests, it fixed both YouTube and Hearts of Space.

Whoa, now that’s a long shot that does it all!
Let’s hope it will fix for @remivamp

That fixed it! Not only that it literally every other problem like google using the old layout and twitter saying “This browser is insecure”

I want to add something here, I was making an order on Digikey this morning and it kept asking to prove that I wasn’t a robot. It happens on many sites with my privacy config so I didn’t think twice about it. I just spent the last 5 minutes browsing the site, adding stuff to my cart and it hasn’t asked to prove that I was human even once. This morning, it was asking every 2 tabs I was opening. Don’t know if it’s related to this but it a big QoL improvement for me :+1:

Same thing happened to me with garuda searx the second I updated where it was an infinite loop of “Prove you’re a human”, though i messed with some settings and fixed it but don’t remember which settings I messed with to fix it (next time I’ll pay better attention)

Yes, a faulty or unknown User-Agent can often lead to sites being overly cautious and requiring captchas more often.

This will be fixed in the newly released version 11.17.6-1.

It will be shortly available from any of our official distribution methods.
