So it turns out I'm also part of the locked out people
Nothing really changed on the settings part since a longer time which is why I suspect GitLab changing something I do remember signing in a few days ago without issues.
As a temporary workaround,
I don't have the time to figure out what settings is responsible for this right now though, if someone wants to give it shot I'm grateful. (commenting setting, restarting browser, retrying)
They've been there for a few versions now I'm surprised they don't have an "open in new container tab" option on right click like they do with the open tabs. Right now you have to open a new blank container tab and then click the bookmark.
This exists in addons but it goes at the very bottom of the context menu which is utterly useless…Definitely just need the ability to assign containers to bookmarks
Good luck and good health to all! Tell me how to change the theme in FireDragon? In the browser settings, I change the theme to light, but the pages are still displayed in dark color. How do I make pages in this browser appear in a light color? I've changed a lot of topics, it doesn't help. I apologize if the text is not particularly clear, I use an online translator.
GNU Icecat probably has anti-fingerprinting enabled as well I assume sadly it's really nothing that can be fixed by me. I'm quite happy that it only affects login and not actual usage of GitLab
Edit: there is an issue about it on GitLabs issue tracker
There is a particularly interesting new change which will be available in the currently building version
Firefox accounts are back - instead of using Mozillas servers the data will be synced to our selfhosted syncserver though (https://ffsync.garudalinux.org). For those who do not like the change, the firedragon.overrides.cfg contains the changed values
Unless someone decides to step in and help out, chances are quite low since I don't have any particular interest in learning how to build android applications right now. There are other forks out there like Mull (privacy) or Iceraven (generally more features) which are doing the job quite well though! Here, it's also possible to change the syncing url to the Garuda one so that shouldn't be an issue - I'm using Iceraven myself @RodneyCK you can most likely do the same on your tablet
I was using Fennec to sync with Firefox before I made the move to Brave. If Iceraven lets me change the url, I might make a switch then.
Edit to add: I found Iceraven, you have to get it via Fdroid > FFUpdater for android…BUT… you can’t change the sync url. Oh well. I stick to Brave for now.
