every time I attempt to install anything from the "add/remove software" I am greeted with "Failed to prepare transaction"> target not found: phantomjs.

Last I checked phantomjs was deprecated and dead. I have -tried- installing it anyways only to be met with that same message. How do fix?

so....nothing I have googled has turned up any meaningful results for this so here I am. Trust me I'm not any happier about asking for help from this forum then you are to see it. But, "Needs must when the devil drives."

no.....meaningful....results.....

And you provide no meaningful information for us to help properly. What packages are you updating? Whats the rest of the output?

im not updating anything. this happens when i try to install anything....like the post said.

and that is the entire output.

What are you trying to install

Exact package name

why does the word ANYTHING keep getting skipped?

Never install software if not up-to-date.

facepalm....thanks for the tip.

Well you are trolling ?

do you want a screenshot?

No, we do not like screenshots from terminal.
BTW, use terminal, not pamac.

If you had done what I wrote, your "problem" would have been solved long ago.

To avoid partial installations, the first thing to do after a fresh installation is to bring the system up to date and, if necessary, update the mirrors.

Have fun with Arch

Yes you are mad and respectless. I guess you know better than everyone else here so good luck figuring it out
