Just a formal request: could you please use garuda-inxi for your system specs instead of e.g. inxi -Faz (or whatever)?
I'm no expert for docker, but a quick internet search brought to several similar (not identical) error messages solved by using kernel parameter systemd.unified_cgroup_hierarchy=0.
You may want to give it a try, it is easy and quick.
Another idea could be trying with a different kernel, if you have one installed.

Definitely worth trying a standard kernel rather than this third-party one.

Hello @QuinnCunxx2037 .

Please read the following template before requesting assistance:

Please post the terminal/konsole input and output as text (no pictures) from the the following command:

garuda-inxi

Refusing to post the output of the required "garuda-inxi" on a help request will likely result in you not receiving any help from the Garuda team. A failure to provide your system specs may also result in your thread being closed without notice, (as without this information providing assistance is often next to impossible).

Before opening a new help request, please search the Arch and Garuda Wiki's, and read any relevant sections related to your issue. Also, thoroughly search any error messages in the forum's search engine and on the web. For in depth information on how to search for answers to Linux issues effectively read the tips on the Garuda Wiki:

How to search for solutions the right way

Find out what steps to take in order to find a solution to a problem

Please report in detail everything you have already attempted to solve your problem.

We should move it to the 412 section.
The requirements were not met.
It has nothing to do with Garuda Linux.
I'm sure there are relevant Docker forums that can help more effectively.

The System Specs i gave, were taken from the Garuda Assistant -> System Specs' -> Copy for Forum button...

I can't find the command called garuda-inxi

And as for why did I link it to another page, when I was writing this post, I found a new section called inxi (Garuda Community).
So I posted it there, so that I don't need to post it everytime...

It is perfectly acceptable posting your specs in this manner.

I know @SGS often uses portable devices when giving support, (as I often do as well). When using a smaller screen, a link such as you posted can sometimes be easily overlooked. You did nothing wrong, and followed the correct procedure, so no worries. :+1:

Thank you for the clarification

PS: Rebooting into the default Linux kernel worked.

This is fine.
It was probably a paste error in the forum post.
You can compare the inxi post with the Garuda Assistant System Specs, the final part is missing.
This is often useful to see the last update, if the system was rebooted, …
Never mind, maybe next time (using a dedicate thread for inxi requires to keep it up-to-date, next time you’ll enter a new topic).

I will keep that in mind :+1:

Me too, and it is complete, apart from that, you have neither searched nor written what you have already found.

With the supplementary information in garuda-inxi, I find the INXI section superfluous.
If you have everything in one thread, it is easier and actual.

Not everyone thinks about keeping his “inxi” thread up to date

How did you get this extra bit of text? :point_up_2:

I have deleted the System Specs from the inxi sub-section of Garuda Community section.
I will be pasting the specs directly in my future posts… As I might forget to update it the next time I post something

Open a terminal and enter

garuda-inxi

You should see that part at the end.
The same should be shown in the Garuda Assistant system soecs

I cannot find the command garuda-inxi...

╭─kevin@garuda in ~
╰─λ garuda-inxi
find-the-command: "garuda-inxi" is not found locally, searching in repositories...

find-the-command: command not found: garuda-inxi

And the part is not visible at the end of the Garuda Assistant's System Specs...

This is not good.
Probably it means that currently the chaotic-aur, which is the repo for Garuda-specific packages is not configured in your pacman conf, maybe due to wrong pacnew handling.
To confirm this, open /etc/pacman.conf and check if you have at the end

[chaotic-aur]
Include = /etc/pacman.d/chaotic-mirrorlist

have you tried installing it

sudo pacman -S garuda-inxi

@QuinnCunxx2037 looks like your pacman.conf may be screwed up?

I suggest you run this command to fix it: update remote fix
Or if that doesn't work because the command wasn't found, do: sudo bash -c ". <(wget -qO- https://gitlab.com/garuda-linux/themes-and-settings/settings/garuda-common-settings/-/snippets/2147440/raw/main/remote-update)"

That should get your system back on track (and should install garuda-inxi)!

I ran the command:point_up_2: and got the output:point_down:, It still didn’t work…

╭─kevin@garuda in ~ via
╰─λ update remote fix
This will reset a few configuration files like pacman.conf 🛑
Are you sure? (y/n)
