also here is my journal https://file.io/nUAmrCYcMHxb

I am sorry but could you please post your journal output to garuda's privatebin

once done click on the Send button up top it will generate a URL. Can you please post that URL here. I am not really comfortable downloading files from unknown sources online. I might not necessarily have solution to your troubles but thought I should tell you about this. I hope you understand.

I did it for him

Now Timestamps where it crashed would be good so people don't have so read the WHOLE log.

next time it happens il post the journal with time stamps

I have 2 journals here the first crashed at about 11:47 PM

the second at about 03:13 AM Garuda's PrivateBin
although one thing that i noticed was "amdgpu: amdgpu_cs_query_fence_status failed" although i dont know weather this is a symptom of the crash or the cause.

Search on that error message.

So i looked into it but i didnt see much except people saying to try changing to mesa-git but running "pamac install mesa-git" i get "removing vulkan-mesa-layers breaks dependency 'vulkan-mesa-layers' required by garuda-video-linux-config" is remoning removing garuda-video-linux-config a bad idea?

Yes it is. It is a meta package that installs the following packages.

xf86-video-ati xf86-video-amdgpu xf86-video-nouveau vulkan-intel vulkan-radeon
intel-media-driver libvdpau-va-gl libva-intel-driver libva-mesa-driver mesa-vdpau
vulkan-mesa-layers vulkan-swrast lib32-vulkan-intel lib32-vulkan-radeon
lib32-mesa-vdpau lib32-libva-intel-driver lib32-libva-mesa-driver
lib32-vulkan-mesa-layers

So removing this package essentially means losing any ability to have a graphical output at all while using your system unless you wanna run your system headless which I doubt you wanna do, don’t remove this package.

Why are you removing vulkan-mesa-layers I don’t see it as a dependency for mesa nor in the conflict list of mesa-git. This is perhaps a bug of using pamac. Please use paru instead to download aur packages.
