I would like to recommend “Speech Note” for chaotic-aur. Current dsnote and dsnote-git are both long compiles with many requirements. The app does text to speech and speech to text as well as translations. All features are available OFFLINE. A quick video on it I found is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYIPyS3F_eU

Hi guys!

I’m trying to update the system via gaqruda-update, however I’m getting some errors while doing so:

error: failed retrieving file 'chaotic-mirrorlist-20240724-1-any.pkg.tar.zst' from cdn-mirror.chaotic.cx : Exceeded the maximum allowed file size (3420) with 3420 bytes

And the update is cancelled alltogether.

While trying to re-add Chaotic using the guide on Chaotic-AUR I get the

error: failed retrieving file 'chaotic-mirrorlist.pkg.tar.zst' from cdn-mirror.chaotic.cx : The requested URL returned error: 404

The file is present in here: https://builds.garudalinux.org/repos/chaotic-aur/ , however it returns the 404 while I’m clicking on it. I’ve tried with VPN off / on (Canada, Belgium, Bulgaria) - nothing helps.

I didn’t perform any modifications to the system. Could you please advise? Thanks!

You don’t have skip mirrorlist set in “garuda-update”? as the would affect upd an update etc.

I type in update (same as garuda-update), confirm password, I get the errors, then it stops. I did not do any special setup on the update file.
