Why the garuda-fastfetch-git package disappeared from the repo? I like it because it has the garudadragon logo.
You can use fastfetch-git
or fastfetch
since Garuda was added in upstream and no longer requires a patch to add the logo.

Need to sort this apparently.

I’m aware, but it only has the main garuda “G” ascii logo.
Thanks for looking into it!

Could you trigger a rebuild for "Freetube"? It appears that since I updated yesterday freetube can't find the libFLAC.so.8 library anymore, since only libFLAC.so.12 is available.

Hm... It's still erroring and I just reinstalled again hoping that the build process was not finished yet - Does the chaoric aur use the correct version or is libFLAC.so.12 just not a thing for freetube?
And yes, I deleted the cached package every time
Works over here, I'm assuming you installed too early

Weird. What does paru -Ql flac | grep libFLAC.so
output for you?
λ paru -Ql flac | grep libFLAC.so
flac /usr/lib/libFLAC.so
flac /usr/lib/libFLAC.so.12
flac /usr/lib/libFLAC.so.12.0.0

Huh? I am so confused. Are you sure that your package is not just an appimage or flatpak? Mine is still erroring
you don't even have libFLAC.so.8
λ pacman -Ss freetube
chaotic-aur/freetube 0.17.1-1.1

Mind you, the version has been bumped so reinstalling won't do the trick

well I am confused: Freetube wants electron16. The git version shows
(electron 20 being used)
It still uses the electron 16 version. Just forced it to use electron20 and now it opens.
Does your /usr/bin/freetube also still use electron16?

Yeah, it pulled it as dependency when I installed it

freetube is stuck back on 16 because there are display issues with newer versions, you can find them if you look at the upstream repo: Issues · FreeTubeApp/FreeTube · GitHub
Currently, upstream is pinned to 20.1.4 , but it's not playing nicely on Arch.
With any luck, it'll be fixed soon. You can see a commit recently as 3 hours ago with relation to electron: Fully replace electron-debug with our own implementation (#2585) · FreeTubeApp/FreeTube@77c2663 · GitHub
