recently after update the default kernal hangs after booting and i have found the bore kernal is stable im a newbie and am trying out garuda after switching from mint then pop.
I have looked at this forum who sorta gets the problem but i’d like a more step by step guide as to where and what to edit…
im sorry for the inconvenience but id really appreciate the support

here is the link to the forum

If no one here will give you the spoon feeding instructions, try the forum or the Internet.

It is pointless to repeat things here that have already been explained many times.

Just my opinion, sorry.

i need the file name to make the changes dude nothing else and like the basic structure of steps not so much as spoon feeding i just hate to go to advanced and change kernel and wanna know where i can make the grub edit

Open Garuda Boot Options. There is a drop-down menu called "Boot to" where you can select which boot option you would like to be the default, then click Apply and you should be all set.
