Cant start any app

Hi

From time to time i get following error and just simple restart was enough to get rid of it but Today it happen constantly,
Afterr i log in into system i can start apps but after few minutes when i trying to run anything (console is example) getting notification unable to run console
Unit [email protected] not found.

This happen with any sort of app, even system syettings:
Unit [email protected] not found.

When i close apps that are already running sometimes i can run apps again, but after some time it happens again.

The system is fully updated.

Any ideas?

Edit:
I just found that this happens when i start more then 5 applications for example i can open 5 terminal windows and when trying to open 6th i getting this problem.

This “↻” tells you that you need a reboot, so consider rebooting, if the problem persist, reply with full message error you got

Try this: go to /home/username/.config/ (replace username with your account) and make a backup of the file plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc → then delete the original file → reboot and check if everything works normally.

That’s weird I’ve never faced similar issue, i would wait a bit for more experienced fellows that can identify the issue, for now sharing journalctl -xe would be a huge help

Chimin to say I’ve had the exact same issue for around 3-4 days (sorry for not posting eariler).
The issue started after some update.
I did a garuda-update and reboot, but now I can’t even open the terminal to send garuda-inxi output.

If anyone has a way to run a shell command without opening Konsole (as that gives same error) please send.
I currently only have firefox running, can’t open anything else.

(obviously, before I updated, all apps could run from the terminal. But KDE couldn’t launch any app)

After the aforementioned update and reboot, launching apps worked fine for some time (maybe 10 minutes?) but then the issue started again.

without opening Konsole (as that gives same error)

You can use keyboard shortcuts, e.g. Super + E (Dolphin) or CTRL + Alt +T (console). You can also open everything with krunner (Alt + Space and/or Alt + F2).

This issue is similar to Dolphin can’t open files or terminal window in sysfs directories.
Whoever believes that has this issue should report as below (in case their issue is not the same)

1. Each application name that failed to start and what method of starting the app was used.
2. Does the same application open fine with any other way, except from the method that fails?
3. package versions from pacman for systemd, kio, dolphin, plasma-workspace

If it is a systemd issue, it has to be fixed soon. There is some activity upstream.

Thanks, but unfortunately none of these work as they all use KDE/systemd to open apps, not directly run the command.
All of them give the same error

Maybe. An error message says only a few things.
It could happen the issue is different in some cases.
The disappointing thing is that users know better, thus don’t answer the questions they are asked, nor do what they are suggested, but answer the questions they like better, or do as they believe they should.
