Cannot Change Shell to Bash After Resetting Settings

Finally updated my system.

Due to losing shell transparency, I ended up resetting "All" settings in Garuda Assistant.

This has set the shell default to Fish (with larger font). In Garuda Assistant, it says Bash is the default. If I set it to Fish, then to Bash, and reboot, Fish remains the default. Clicking "Apply" also closes Garuda Assistant (crash?).

It seems that something got broken by resetting settings.

How can I put it back to Bash like it was?

Please consider that Konsole has its own Setting -> Edit Current Profile -> Command (put bash there).
There (Appearence) you can also change the font and size and with Edit "Color scheme & font" you can change transparency, blur, etc.
As regards the Garuda Assistant, that's supposed to change the default shell, not the terminal shell as above, i.e. the shell you have if you switch to of boot to a TTY. That's why our default is bash, and it should probably stay as such, provided that you adjust Konsole according to your needs.

There used to be a shell default screen with a Garuda symbol and system info, was that removed afterwards?

Do you mean the "fetch" packages (it used to be paleofetch, then neofetch, currently fastfetch, I don't know which one you have installed, probably the latter) showing, when you open Konsole, a big logo on the left and some system information on the right?
With fish (I use fish, and reduced the font size as explained above  ) if you go at the end of the config file:

micro .config/fish/config.fish

You should see something like this:

if status --is-interactive && type -q fastfetch
   fastfetch --load-config neofetch

end

That --load-config neofetch is the standard neofetch set of info, but there are alternatives.
If you use bash, of course, this should go at the end of .bashrc (maybe even just adding a final line with neofetch or fastfetch could be enough).

That code is at the end of the file, and neofetch doesn't display. Both for fish and bash.

Fastfetch wasn't installed, installing it fixes it. Perhaps it got lost during the 15GB updates of the month when package changed.

What's the difference between garuda-fastfetch-git and fastfetch ?

The second is the original package, the first is the fork by @SGS
