That was kind of expected (as I anticipated yesterday) but, believe me, it’s not wasted time.
I’m no expert on bluetooth and relevant issues, and the only hint I can give you is the link to the following thread that you may want to check.
It was for a different adapter but it has good troubleshooting hints, and it solved issues for some other users (also with different adapters) in the past.
