Bluetooth connection failed: Protocol not available

Hello. So after a recent update, my bluetooth stopped working. It cannot connect to any device, giving me the error "Protocol not available". I tried reinstalling bluez and all the related packages, as well as restarting the bluetooth daemon. I also tried rebooting several times, but it did not help.

If it is relevant, I am running the i3 spin of Garuda on an Optimus laptop. I am not sure which bluetooth card I am using.

Thanks in advance.

Which packages were updated at the time?

Given it worked, and then stopped, it’s unlikely to be any hardware or configuration change, and it’s very likely to just start working again with future updates.

Install and test the LTS kernel if the kernel you are currently using was one of the items updated just before your bluetooth broke.
