BIOS update on Lenovo Yoga 14IAP7 removed garuda from bios

I was tinkering a little bit too mich and things were slowly starting to look a little off on both windows and garuda, so I nuked the whole drive and started from scratch. I wanted to install garuda first, then windows, and in windows I saw the bios update was available so I thought I’ll give it a shot. After the update I can’t see Garuda in bios anymore, but I can still get into the os through the "Detect EFI bootloader

Can someone please explain to me how to fix it? I found this, but I don’t really understand it and don’t want to accidentally break something. can someone please either give me a step by step guide or explain each step and command in the linked solution?
