ZSTD-compressed data is corrupt

Hello everyone. I’ve been getting an error during boot ever since I installed, and since I reinstalled and moved /home to a new NVMe. During boot, the 1st line I see is:

[ 3.663622] Initramfs unpacking failed: ZSTD-compressed data is corrupt.

I found a solution to use mknitcpio to regenerate a new image but we don’t have mkinitcpio anymore and when I try to install it it conflicts with garuda-dracut-support. I’m not sure how to proceed. I suspect the problem is more than OS deep because I cant boot the arch installer iso either. It gives me a similar error and doesn’t even boot. Here is my inxi.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

You can regenerate the initramfs image with dracut like this:

sudo dracut-rebuild

I’m not sure, but my guess would be this is a coincidence/unrelated, and maybe just a corrupted ISO or bad USB stick.

I guess I should’ve looked up the dracut manual. Thanks a lot @BluishHumility. I used

sudo dracut-rebuild --force

just in case it needed to overwrite the old one.
I rebooted and problem solved.
