Xfce | DisplayCAL's "calibrate & profile" button doesn't work

I am using DIsplayCAL to try and calibrate my monitor's colors. I have inserted "X-rite i1 Pro 2" spectrometer, but the DisplayCAL still doesn't react to it. How can I solve this problem? How can I make the "Calibrate & Profile" button work?

I figured out what the problem is. This problem occurs when you first start the DisplayCAL software, and then insert the spectrometer. You solve this problem by doing it the other way around: first insert the spectrometer into the computer, and then start the software
