Wow. Garuda on my Chromebook's micro sd card

I’m liking this little Asus Chomebook a lot at the moment. I installed Dragonized to a 128G micro sd card and got it running on it and and at 40% battery it said I still had like 6 1/2 hours of battery life. I usually use an overpowered Dell Precision 7510 and I can’t get 6 1/2 hours with both batteries.

It’s not perfect though. The brightness on both the display and the backlit keyboard aren’t adjustable with the keys yet, and I’ve tried more than half the solutions in the arch wiki. I made a bunch of one liner scripts to call up different brightnesses for both but for some reason only root can change the brightnesses, so I keep a shrunken root terminal in the corner for brightness adjustments. It also gets no sound through the laptop speakers and what I’ve read when looking for a solution doesn’t look promising, but the bluetooth works and I do have a nice bluetooth speaker. Anyway, I’m looking forward to carrying a 3 lb laptop instead of the 12 pounder I usually carry.

Anyway, it’s an Asus C425 with an Intel Core m3-8100Y, Intel 615 graphics, 4G RAM, 128G internal storage with Garuda on a 128G UHS-1 micro sd card.
