If you want to go for the manual setup you have to know what you do or read carefully, links included.

Is the network password prompt appearing when you use other access points?
Have you tried accessing other networks to see if authentication is working properly, or is it just Eduroam not working?
If this works properly on other networks then this is not a Garuda issue. You should contact your schools IT department for assistance. This is an Eduroam configuration issue.
