Im new to linux and I recently download garudalinux gaming edition but every time i go to login to my wifi it says incorrect password i made sure it was right and there was no mistake in typing it i use a usb wifi card for my wifi
How?
Follow the template and post garuda-inxi from konsole as text, please.
When i reboot it brings me to windows
Use the live ISO, use chroot from “Garuda Welcome” and install and update grub.
If it was a fresh installation, just install again.
We do not support dual boot because M$ sometimes destroy the grub file.
I unistalled windows completely and when i do reboot it brings me to the boot manager and when i go to garuda konsole nothing new shows
Are you booting into a live iso?
Not trying to assume you’re dumb, but sometimes this happens to the best of us: have you checked whether or not caps lock was on?
Seems like you didn’t go through the installation the first time and just tried the live ISO. Have you managed to connect to wifi now that you have installed?
I suggest you read about what a terminal emulator is. It is not a logging console, so you shouldn’t expect anything “new” to show when you open it. I’ve always thought Konsole is a pretty confusing name in that sense.
Welcome to Linux and this Community. as @SGS said, posting the garuda-inxi would be a great help to us.
Also, you say you have a USB Wifi card. Are you trying to connect to 5Ghz? I had a similar issue with connecting to my router which also has 2.4Ghz. I changed the SSID and prettymuch read every post in here relating to my issue.
What I had to do, after I made sure the SSID were not the same and that the MAC was not random, I went into the GUI settings and changed the priority so the 5Ghz connection was prioritized.
Just a possibility. I know Linux may seem like a daunting learning curve, especially coming from Windows. However, this forum is a treasure trove of posts with solutions. If you are unsure or overwhlemed, just post the garuda-inxi using </> and ask. I hope this helps.
Temporarily disable password authentication in your router as a troubleshooting step (do not leave it disabled), then test if connection is possible.

Tested my suggestion?
If so what was the result?
Have you installed or tested any of the proprietary realtek drivers for your adapter?
If not, I would suggest installing the linux-lts
kernel and the linux-lts-headers
packages and change to the LTS kernel at the grub boot screen. Then install one of the realtek proprietary drivers from the AUR such as:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/8188fu-dkms-git
or
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/8188fu-kelebek333-dkms-git
Be sure to read and implement any special instructions on the driver’s upstream github page.
Edit:
In addition you may also want to test the following driver package:
I have got wifi via usb tethering through my phone im going to try and See if it has anything to do with what u said
Well I figured it out i just downloaded ubuntu and its working perfectly fine for some reason garuda wont let me connect
As you haven’t provided any feedback to my suggestions, and you seem to have figured things out all on your own I guess we can close this thread down now as resolved.
