Wifi connection rally bad on Garuda partition

Hello I've recently installed Garuda as dualboot on my Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15ACH16 (before I had Manjaro it had the same issue but I switched because other reasons)

The problem is apparrently I can only connect to wifi/bluetooth networks where I have line of sight to the Router for some reason (I tested it same router c.a. 10m no line of sight -> no connection. c.a. 20m line of sight fine connection. With bluetooth when I put my hands in front of my bluetooth headfones the audio cuts out, but without hands it is fine)
Lan works perfectly fine I have a Gigabit port and get a gigabit throughput.

The wifi works Perfectly fine on my Windows partition

I've looked into the network manager the Network cards show up there but nothing shows up under the "associated linux drivers"

The Windows "fast startup" feature can cause this issue, because it allows Windows to hold on to certain hardware resources while hibernating--including the network card.

Disable the fast startup option in the "Choose what the power buttons do" menu in Control Panel, and ensure the power button actually shuts down the computer instead of hibernation or something else. You have to enable changing settings that are unavailable to do it.

I tried that sadly it didn't change anything, I double checked and tried it with reboot and with shutdown and then boot.

Have you tried sudo rfkill unblock wifi or sudo rfkill unblock all?

is the new output of rfkill sadly also didn't change anything.

I would suggest testing other kernels, such as LTS, mainline, or Linux.

Do you have this issue when booted into the live environment?

I ran into a curious situation, I've just gotten home from work here the wifi works without problem and Bluetooth also doesn't cut out. Maybe one of the fixes above actually worked and only after having the laptop "properly" shut down because it was in a bag for over an hour it actually worked. Or it is just that at home there is way less interference. I will have to test tomorrow again because if it was the interference why would windows work.

Windows uses different drivers than Linux. Your wifi adapter is quite recent and the Linux driver support so far for this model has been very sketchy. Many people couldn't even get a connection with that adapter as recently as this summer. The driver still needs time to mature with Linux before it becomes 100% reliable.

Most companies prioritize Windows driver support way ahead of Linux. It often takes quite some time for a new wifi driver to become fully stable with Linux. That's just the nature of the beast, Linux support is sometimes slow In coming with new hardware.

Okay thank you, I guess I have to live with that for now. Luckily the net admin enabled one of the LAN ports of the room for me so I access the net from there.
