Why does Kde reset sometimes?

It happens rarely, but sometimes after i shutdown my pc and booting it up the next day my task bar configuration is reseted, i have a different wallpaper and my keyring gets reseted. (like i said, its very rarely it happend 2x in the last 30 days)
But its not that everything from kde gets reseted, my applied window rules are still there. And last time i got logged out from everything when the keyring got reseted, this time i got logged out from my VPN and it forgott my passwort for the Wlan.

That's a question for which I want answers too...
Some say it's a feature, some say it's just a common behaviour, I think it's just annoying...

But I've never heard of being logged out of stuff and keyring resetting o.o usually the DE just nukes some configs when I update it.

that is weird .... it never actually happened to me.

one thing you can try though, is either putting ~/.config under git versioning, or backups of a "good working configuration".

although, if its an issue with wallpapers only, then you can check your ~/.config/plasmashellrc and check how many sections you have on [ScreenConnectors] (if more than number of monitors and if they are properly configured). this is a multi monitor bug that plasma has, though its being worked on. (sometimes it just thinks its a new/different monitor)
