White screens while gaming and flashes white while logging in

I noticed this after an update and then tried numerous times on steam to open 2 different games, using proton 7.0-6 and experimental. But the white screen of doom shows up and the game music plays in the background.

Have you tried disabling the compositor before playing?
You can enable / disable the compositor on the fly with alt+shift+F12.

Ya kinda sorta works with flashing white screen of doom still. Still trying to figure out how to get that update log to you guys. I type /var/log/garuda into the terminal and it spits /var/log/garuda back out.

figured it out! did a full package reinstall and compositor disable to get it to work. Thx!
