Oh goody goody a game of 20 questions. WELL in this case 11. I’m Guessing the question is “What operating system has the nerve to do all of the above?”. I’m going to guess WinBlows.
Very true. But I’ll confirm to you there are no ads in the gaming edition that I have. It’s as peaceful as what you have installed. I was wondering why it was not in existence 10 yrs ago. It’s the only OS that doesn’t unlock a problem into a side quests of sub-problems in a fibrous fashion (two distros I tried actually did this to me & it felt like my brains cells were being plucked out of place one after the other leaving me with nothing to use for thinking).
This one allows you to actually concentrate on time-bound projects with a peace of mind & I’m just as glad I found it. Very thankful too that we have a serious team in here (Garuda)
I’ve been using our distribution of choice for several years, I no longer recall how many now, and my experience is similar to yours. I’ve encountered a few issues, and asked for help here, and I always received a quick, understandable, and useful response. Most of the issues I’ve encountered have been caused by me doing something very stupid or through inattention to what I was doing.
I dual-boot Garuda KDE-Lite with Microsoft Windows 11 24H2 because I like their new OS, but that may change as I’ve noticed that Microsoft has been tending to gravitate toward the dark side again. If this trend continues, I’ll lose patience with them and eradicate them from my three computers and become a GNU/Linux-only user which is who I probably should have been all along.
