What is grauda linux (on /dev/sda1) in grub created after restoring a snapshot from snapper

Hello everyone,
What I am posting here might be kinda dumb (I am a noob) but please help me out here.
I recently rebooted from snapshot after my audio controls disappeared for some unknown reason. The restore went well and all but from the next boot up I noticed I have a new entry in my boot screen called

garuda linux(on /dev/sda1)

can someone please tell me what this is? Do I need to be concerned about this? is this consuming my disk space? if yes how to remove this?

Welcome
Can you provide your

garuda-inxi

as per the template

Maybe try a

sudo update-grub

and provide relevant output.

I performed a reboot after this but the extra boot entry on grub

garuda linux(on /dev/sda1)

was still there.

This reminds me of this

I think you should try that linked suggestion to skip your partition from os-prober.

Thanks this worked for me. The duplicate entry has been removed from grub now.

Skipped Garuda Linux on /dev/sda1 by user request.
