Struck here, tried setting hd1,gpt5 as grub folder but it wont find normal mod file, so i giess it isnt there to the wrong folder, please help me out find grub folder in btrfs filesystem or any other solution
Read and post, please.

Secure boot is already turned off
from what i can tell reading through the ArchWiki your commands are not listed,
Follow the given instructions in the Wiki and report back
The available commands in GRUB rescue include insmod
, ls
, set
, and unset
. This example uses set
and insmod
. set
modifies variables and insmod
inserts new modules to add functionality.
Before starting, the user must know the location of their /boot
partition (be it a separate partition, or a subdirectory under their root):
grub rescue> set prefix=(hdX,Y)/boot/grub
where X
is the physical drive number and Y
is the partition number.
Note: With a separate boot partition, omit /boot
from the path (i.e. type set prefix=(hdX,Y)/grub
).
To expand console capabilities, insert the linux
module:
grub rescue> insmod i386-pc/linux.mod
or simply
grub rescue> insmod linux
This introduces the linux
and initrd
commands, which should be familiar.
An example, booting Arch Linux:
Thanks a lot for replying, i have tried doing the same but the normal.mod us nowhere to be found, i have searched all partitions. Only partition is garuda where i cant find the boot or grub folder, my attempts are on my photos if you can see them above in my post
Just a desperate try
Is also your Fast Boot in the BIOS disabled?
Read this:
and then use the chroot option.
Also remember that Garuda doesn’t officially support dual-booting for exactly the reason that Windows will break everything whenever it feels like it. Feel free to complain to Microsoft (although, they have learned that you can’t complain at a faceless organisation that doesn’t have a web forum, so instead people come to Linux forums and complain to their developers instead…).
Let me repeat once again (from my initial post): try chrooting and reinstall the grub.
The BIOS Fast Boot disabled is also not really by chance: it solved a very similar issue a few months ago.
By-the-way, in your rescue steps, shouldn't it be (hd1,gpt4) or (hd0,gpt4) according to your specs above? You should point to /dev/nvme0n1p4
, your root partition, not the EFI partition.
Windows often breaks Linux installations, therefore it is not recommended to dual boot by Garuda.
There are good reasons for Garuda's policy of not officially supporting dual boots. Users that insist on dual booting need to be prepared for this resulting in many problems. Correcting these resultant boot problems usually require much reading on the users part. Users are expected to thoroughly research on their own if they insist on multi booting. For this reason forum support volunteers will generally not waste a lot of time supporting multi-boot issues.
Please edit your OP (opening post) to remove the forum template instructions from your post (as it is unwanted distracting clutter).
Good luck with your issue.
If you're successfully running Windows 11, with a few exceptions (Red Hat, et al), you can't run Linux. So, you pick.
You may have partition 1 as ESP. Try this one.
At grub rescue, you can search or list folders, so look first for the grub folder, so you can be sure for the proper ESP partition.
For example:
search -f /@/boot/grub/grub.cfg
search -f /grub/grub.cfg
If a partition responds, set the proper /boot/grub
path as $prefix
and boot it with configfile
.
