Weird partial black box in GNOME overview

So i just switched to gnome (clean install) from kde, and i keep seeing this black box like thing every time i scroll to a new workspace. When i open the empty workspace, it is gone but i can see it again in the overview. (I m totallly new to gnome and have pop os tile extension installed)

Disable all your active extensions and see if it persists. If it doesn't, re-enable extensions one by one to find the one causing the problem.

i disabled all my extensions and it still persists

I guess it's alacrity. I checked your dash and there were 4 apps opened. But in the overview I's able to see only 3 apps. Brave, File Manager and settings.

Have you made any other tweaks or installed any themes (e.g. using an installer script that needed sudo)?

Your shell theme in the screenshot is different to the standard GNOME theme, though that should have changed back to the default if you disabled the "User Themes" extension.

Sorry to interrupt sir, but it's nothing different sir. He has taken the ss in overview, so it's showing that way.

This seems like a bizarre guess to me. What gives you that hunch?

This seems the more likely cause to me. How did you install the extension, AUR? Did you build it yourself? Did you use a helper? Which one? Or did you use the add/remove software app?

Did you reboot after?

The reason jonathon pointed this out is because it suggests that you were not successful in attempting to walk back the extensions you set up.

…Huh? What are you, looking over their shoulder?
