Weird mouse problems

Hello everyone, I have an issue with my OS where the system will "freeze". By this, I mean that the mouse randomly is not allowed while I can use the keyboard to navigate around just fine. The weird this is that when I go from tty7 to tt6 using ctrl+alt+f6 then back to tty7 using ctrl+alt+f6, the issue goes away for a random amount of time, then it comes back and I have to keep repeating the process.

I do currently have a different kernel installed, and I have also had the same issue on the zen kernel. The USB mouse that I have plugged in and the laptop trackpad are both affected.

Any help that you could offer is appreciated, thank you.

There is an updated BIOS for your system, version 314. I would suggest updating it and see if you still have the problem. G712LV - Support

Is there anything interesting at or around that time in journalctl?
