Wayland Icons in Wayland for Gnome''ish Programs

So after working out a fix for my SDDM loop issue, looks like I’m using Wayland for the foreseeable future, maybe for ever…

One of the reasons I have avoided Wayland is some of the Icons are wrong especially when using Alt+Tab to switch windows. Not the biggest issue but enough to annoy.

Alt-Tab displays most icons OK but not Thunderbird or Rhythmbox when playing a Podcast. It displays a generic ‘W’ icon.

I seem to remember I can force Thunderbird to use Wayland but what about the others?
