I tried the lxqt version which I also liked a lot and Im having issues with that too 
when theres any kind of decent load on the GPU the mouse gets laggy and it just stops at the edges of windows. I really wanted to make to the switch to one of these but looks like Im gonna have to hold off
Still gonna check out qtile even thought Ive never used a tiling desktop (outside of pop os which is not really tiling in the same sense).
