Waybar big icon problem after updating

Hello,
today after I updated the waybar I found that it is now showing icons in the waybar of what ever app I have focused on like this :

But some are getting too much big than I expected, like (icon of garuda assistant ) :

I have searched on internet, there were some plenty of people who faced that issue but they were with their custom icons and these issues were year old

I just want to ask that is there any way to fix the icon size ? (please don't tell me about custom icon size can be fixed in this way or that way as I am not talking about that )

please help me to get rid of this annoying problem ...
thanks in advance :slightly_smiling_face:

It's not a bug, it's a feature, small Garuda Eagle looks not so nice :smiley: :wink:

So this "feature" is for eagle icons ... :slightly_smiling_face:
And if I want to make a little bit small, than how can I do it?
As it makes other things look weird..

(EDIT : waybar is also quitting sometimes )

If you update now, don’t, the whole team is working hard on a solution for you right now.
I could understand the problem and have already made suggestions.

As a fix, you should not open the garuda assistant at this time :wink:

More than garuda-assistant???
Please, post the app names.

checking other apps , found these :

  1. garuda welcome
  2. btrfs-assistant
  3. firedragon

if I found more apps than I would report … :slightly_smiling_face:
And so sorry for editing the post too …

This is just waybar glitching there’s issue open on their github page. I’m re-writing some of the waybar config. We did that for Endeavour and it seemed to mend the crashing but that might take a while.

Don't know when and don't know how but now it's seems to be solved (may be automatically from hotfixes )
Thanks to you garuda team :smiley:

is this the same issue? i experienced it with waybar v0.9.10: Freezing at 100% CPU after some time · Issue #1464 · Alexays/Waybar · GitHub

adding the following to ~/.config/waybar/config fixed it for me. although i think this config change is no longer necessary as it looks like they've disabled the icon by default in the latest releases.

    "sway/window": {
        "icon": false
    },
