Vs code is not installing

please help me when i try to install vs code then this is writting

You need to update your system. Run sudo pacman -Syu (and merge any pacnew files).

Also, please:

  1. post text output as text;
  2. do not beg for help.

You also may want to include a keyring if you don't have one. VSCode gets cranky when you try to connect to github without it in my experience.

Btw, if you are interested in Linux and still use Vs code, try vscodium, fork of vscode without microsoft branding, ads, etc.

That is not useful information without any further context.

However, if sudo pacman -Syu in fact does not run at all then you have serious underlying issues with your installation and so should just reinstall rather than wasting any time trying to fix it.

Refresh mirrorlist

sudo reflector --latest 5 --age 2 --fastest 5 
--protocol https --sort rate --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist && 
cat /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist && sudo pacman -Syyu
