Virtual Desktop Switching with multi-monitor setup

I am a garuda user for over an year now, and its pretty stable on my desktop. I recently purchased a samsung monitor and it connects well!
However when I try to switch virtual desktop on one monitor, the virtual desktops on other monitor are also getting switched, this should ideally not happen.
How can I fix this?

With KDE I don’t think that the feature is possible at all. I rarely use an external monitor, but a quick internet search confirms this.
Maybe something will change with KDE6? Or maybe something has already been implemented using a Wayland session?
