Using Picture in Picturn (PiP) on top of top panel again

Hey there;

I’m using KDE Dragonized edition and often use PiP (Picture in Picture) with a minimized video in the top left corner and on top the Top panel bar (so it’s like an overlay) and not only right below where you can’t put the video on top of the top panel. Is there a way to change this new setting back to the previous one? I don’t change it and verify it with a update on my outdated Laptop which used system-update from 5th February 2025 and had this function enabled and after the update it doesn’t.

See Foto about what i mean with this position (as desired pre update with upates from 05th february)

After update and reboot with same settings:

Edit: added garuda-inxi

r click on the top panel. click show panel configuration and this box will show up.

I don’t verify the previous settings but i verify the change just with a simple update and after reboot it was active, where i can’t put my pip-Video on the top (over panel). The change was made some weeks earlier and i notice it on my daily machine. Just verified it with an outdated Laptop if it’s just a change cause the update or a failure that happens. And a update shouldn’t change the setting of this part on their own. But i choose there “Windows go below” cause i need it to be always visible and it shouldn’t block my Tabs in my web browsers. So i’m searching for a way to enable it again. My screen isn’t the biggest and i don’t want to change my panel to be always in the background or not full size (so like everything on the right). My settings are otherwise the same like yours but always visible with browser full-screen and adaptive opacity blocks some part of the browser window (at least for me).

I can only think there might have been a kde specific change as they transition over to some new code for panels in upcoming 6.4 but i’m not to sure.
