URL as live wallpaper?

Is there a way to set an URL as live wallpaper in Garuda Linux yet?

No.

Actually, this question has no real meaning. Garuda is a distribution with several DEs.
Each DE has its own capabilities on setting wallpapers. Also, there are several applications that can be used for this, depending on which DE is used.

And, this question is more applicable to Arch.

  1. I mean https://cybermap.kaspersky.com
  2. Garuda Black Arch

What, prey tell, is the way?

There are video wallpaper plugin in KDE. So, you can set the downloaded video as wallpaper. Also you can set gif wallpapers.

But off course you can't set that cybermap as wallpaper, afaik. Though you can get a video with similar cybermap as wallpaper.

But I would rather use the original.

Hi @booblet
I found this:

This could work

It does work, however, it does not display the map...

Perhaps it has something to do with the following:

Also, remember that we are in the Issues & Assistance section.

It is really not far from #4xx category.

You are violating forum rules and not even care.

I guess you"ll be my 1st user to suspend.

Rest and revise your attitude for some time.
