How do you install the ultimate edition once the OS is up and working.
I have tried sudo pacman -S ultimate without success.
Other versions are installed and I would like to try the ultimate version, however, due to its size I cannot burn it to a normal dvd.

The Ultimate edition simply has a larger selection of pre-installed packages, as identified by >extra in the above list. You can install all of them, some of them, or none of them and add applications only as you need them.

I am also having a issue with upgrade to ultimate on dr46onized version it asks me which apps I want to install but didn't install anything. Plzz help
Someone reported this as well a few days back but didnt actually give information on error messages / selections in the assistant / circumstances.
Is this happening when Alacritty opens to install packages after selecting?
I have the feeling this user may not even know what alacritty is. @Lakshya_rao if you don't know it's the terminal program used to run the commands in.

I know what it is 
It didn't help me get anything installed, though. Had to drop back to my scripts for Arch installs. I chose things like libreoffice fresh, and inkscape, and kolourpaint, and gimp, and no asian font support. Can't remember them all, but I thought it was pretty good selection - if it had worked! basically, the term showed up, asked for authorization, and disappeared with no result. No further entries were chosen as 'none'. Very strange, I thought...
Initially it was giving error about snap then I installed snap and tried again then it was something like added to symlink.
There is probably a typo in one of the package lists which makes pacman fail. Ill try to track it down later. 
Excellent - I was sure it was a minor issue - do you need a likely package list of choices? (I could step through it again to see what I probably did.
Yad is nifty - but it doesn't error-check!
The application enables systemd services after installing the corresponding applications which gives "created symlink X" if successful.

I am in advanced conky meltdown mode right now - so it could be a while at least! (propagating multiple files across multiple distros can take time!)

If I can get my head cleared I'll take a look - probably a typo somewhere on one of the packages that the writer doesn't have (at a guess) - so the writer will know best from my list which is unusual for them, and a possible trigger
