this should have been placed under the “issues & assistance” topic. and please post your garuda-inxi results. do not fear, it doesn’t have anything like serial numbers or usernames in it.
forum members are currently in the midst of figuring this all out, however as a quick fix you can uninstall fancontrol-gui-git and should be able to update. lots of detail is missing though so please post your garuda-inxi

Yes, this will happen with EVERY AUR package which still has the old dependencies in place.
Most of the time it works if you not use the -git version.@Javabean wrote.

The package has been updated in the AUR now, so Chaotic-AUR should have it soon. If not, post in the Chaotic-AUR thread for a rebuild
