$conky -DD
conky: error while loading shared libraries: libxml2.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Conky is conky-lua-nv

Oh right. libxml2 was updated yesterday and caused a lot of conflicts with orphans that prevented updating.

I have now installed conky on my updated system as a check. I get no errors, it can be started in the console but doesn’t show anything. When I installed Garuda, I also had conky but uninstalled it because it didn’t fit in with KDE and I was unable to turn it off or move it around (I am using KDE widgets or the System monitor).

Now I can’t say it does anything. It should show system info, right?

Yep, thats right. Take a look here:

Arch repo packages like emacs, libarchive and openconnect have already been rebuilt against the new library.

Just wait for an updated AUR version of conky-lua-nv.

I will conquer that the following solved my issue.
I deleted the existing ~/conky-lua-nv folder (with sudo privileges).
Then did the new git from Arch(https://aur.archlinux.org/conky-lua-nv.git)
Installed and all is back to normal.
