Syyu to force check for updates in all repositories

Then remove dbus-python, I have no xboxdrv

sudo pacman -Rns dbus-python

and look if that break something.

sudo pacman -Rns dbus-python
error: target not found: dbus-python

pacman -Syu

or remove first xboxdrv and reinstall afterwords if you need it.

I had to remove xboxdrv and xbox-generic-controller in order for the update. Update seems to be working again. I never used these packages anyways. Thankyou

It seems to me Arch changed the package name which means the package needs its dependencies updated.
The maintainer is already notified so hopefully we will see an update soon :eyes:

There is now a fixed version of xboxdrv in the repo. Just update in order to get the new package with updated dependency.

im wondering if xboxdrv and xbox-generic-controller still needed ? because i remove it too bec of the update . Then i have try my xbox controller (xbox elite series 2 ) conected with wire on steam and it works without any problems … also if i look in kde setting under controller (eingabegeräte - gamecontroller) it is working there (Generic X-Box pad (/dev/input/js0) )
so im thinking if its still needed ?

According to xboxdrv website

It is an alternative to the xpad kernel driver and has support for Xbox1 gamepads, Xbox360 USB gamepads and Xbox360 wireless gamepads, both first and third party

So for yours it might not be needed

Xbox-generic-driver can now be reinstalled. From the repository
