I uncommented chaotic-aur in pacman.conf as I
do not really need AUR in any form.
I am good with this setting ?
If I would use garuda-update would my pacman.conf change back ?
please advise
You HAVE to have the chaotic-aur enabled. It has nothing to do with the AUR, a lot of its packages are just from the AUR, but you absolutely HAVE to have it.
If you would like to make absolutely sure your system is okay and good to go again, run the following command to reset your pacman.conf to default settings:
garuda-update remote fix
