Unable to install EA App with wine/proton

I am trying to install the EA App to install some games, but when installing either through Lutris or directly through wine on the terminal it doesn't work. The installer loads some time after clicking on Let's Go, but it fails. image
This is the same behaviour as described here. I watched a video to check if I did something wrong. But in the video the guy says that the EA App works fine on Linux and on his system it does indeed work completely fine.
Since the OS in the video is also arch-based it seems that the issue is Garuda specific. Do you know how to fix this issue?

I haven't used lutris or wine but I did download the sims 4 in steam runtime and had this issue too. After a lot of trial and error I found that forcing it to use proton 6.3-8 managed to make my installer work.
Though after the installation I was infinity stuck on a blank link2ea screen which after a lot of searxing I found on a reddit thread that I needed to make a EA account using my steam account and in account settings --> security I needed to make sure that the login verification is off which it should be by default.
After doing this I managed to pass all the hurdles and play my game smoothly. I don't know how these steps would translate to lutris or wine but good luck.

I want to specifally install games from my EA account. You used to do this using origin, but EA switched to the EA App, but this app fails to install.

I installed the EA launcher because Mass Effect quit working properly through Steam and I was just trying anything i could to get it to work. All I did was download the EAappinstaller.exe and right clicked it and ran it through the Wine Windows program loader and it installed, opened , logged in and it connected.
