Typing "ê" with french Keyboard

Hello,
In French we use quite frequently ê or ô and normally to type it we firstly write ^ and after the letter we want so here e or o and that will transform the ^ into the letter we typed with the accent on top. But when I do that in Garuda, it writes ^e or ^o. How can I solve this issue??
I’ve found nothing on internet about this topic and i’m pretty new to Arch linux so.

Check your locale and keyboard settings.
Try also live ISO and set language and keyboard to french for testing if problem no longer exist.

Hi there.
I don’t think it is related to Garuda.
ê and ô work perfectly for me.
Have you checked your keyboard layout?

Here is my /etc/default/keyboard

# KEYBOARD CONFIGURATION FILE

# Consult the keyboard(5) manual page.

XKBMODEL="pc105"
XKBLAYOUT="fr"
XKBVARIANT=""
BACKSPACE="guess"

Hello,
Mine is exactly the same, I just had a variant for no dead key but even without the variant the problem is still occurring.

I’ve rebooted my system multiple times and the problem is still occurring
My local and keyboard settings looks good to me

On a live ISO it works, I know I did something wrong, but what

Finaly i’ve found a solution, i’ve tried an other keyboard layout and this one works ! Thank you all :pray:
